Am I the only one who hates the hairy Gucci loafers?

Hi old friend. Long time no write to say the least. You alright?

It's been an eventful year and so I kind of didn't have the time or the energy to write here anymore. I've focused on the job I luckily landed in January 2016 and the rest is history. It was also slightly stressful to always have to make the food you prepare look so god damn fabulous. Sometimes you just wanna fry up a couple of eggs, a whole pack of bacon and just stuff it in your face. It just isn't social media worthy, is it.

Anyhow, my urge for coming back here on this particular day is because there is something I need to get off my chest. Bitch-fest, completely unnecessary complaining about something I could simply ignore - call it what you want. These bloody slippers that every fashionista seem to be investing in this spring/summer, are driving me insane. I find them offensive. You already know which slipper I'm talking about; the Gucci Princeton leather slipper.

These can be yours for a slimming price of £715. Are you kidding me.

Speaking of the above, do you remember when these bad boys were all over our timelines being absolutely ridiculed, now known as the Donald Trump slippers? If we only would have known.

You already know it's Over The Knee season but you also know how hard it is to find the perfect pair. Not too slutty, not too wide leg,  not thigh-crushing Micheline tight, not too high heel, not too short.. Also you want to go for a pair in real leather or suede as they probably will start to smell after a few days of usage in the rainy London weather. So I'm crossing my fingers and toes that these will fit me, I found them on Asos (shock) for £80, down from £115.

Hi!

I'm currently on a plain on my way back to London, wifi on an airplane is just genius. Go Norwegian. 

I've been in Stockholm over the weekend and before that I graduated! Have loads of pictures to show you, I've literally had the best time.

BUT for now I'd like to honour my new shoes by devoting this post to them, I spent my last pennies on them just over a week ago. I've been staring into the window of Whistles for a good couple of months now, admiring these shoes. I now found them on sale and they were only 50-odd quid! It was meant to be.

Plimsolls

New season - new shoes. Figured I need some casual day-to-day shoes that aren't sneakers or have heels on them. What better solution than a fresh pair of plimsolls! Gonna rock these on sunny days paired with black, tight skinny jeans, a trench coat and a pair of wayfarers. Gotta stay freshhhh..

When I met my boyfriend Lloyd he used to slap me when I accidentally stepped on his new trainers. Well he didn't really slap me but he would shout GET OFF in his Scottish accent :) I never really got it and just thought he was being silly but I GET IT NOW. My white shoes are gonna stay white that's all I'm saying. Fair enough a pair of Converses do age like men - with beauty. But that's about as far as I'd go. My Air Force 1:s are getting a bit dark in the seems but I wipe them with a wet cloth probably once a week so they are wearable for a bit longer. 


Oh and guys, New Balance trainers are a big NO-NO, ok?
