OTK

These babies have just been ordered and will be delivered for me tomorrow!! *heart eyes emoji*

You already know it's Over The Knee season but you also know how hard it is to find the perfect pair. Not too slutty, not too wide leg,  not thigh-crushing Micheline tight, not too high heel, not too short.. Also you want to go for a pair in real leather or suede as they probably will start to smell after a few days of usage in the rainy London weather. So I'm crossing my fingers and toes that these will fit me, I found them on Asos (shock) for £80, down from £115.

Here comes my favourite OTK looks from my pal google;

Dark layers & printed skirts.
Coat on shoulders.
Massive knits.
Clean cut.

Whistles Sale

Hi!

I'm currently on a plain on my way back to London, wifi on an airplane is just genius. Go Norwegian.

I've been in Stockholm over the weekend and before that I graduated! Have loads of pictures to show you, I've literally had the best time.

BUT for now I'd like to honour my new shoes by devoting this post to them, I spent my last pennies on them just over a week ago. I've been staring into the window of Whistles for a good couple of months now, admiring these shoes. I now found them on sale and they were only 50-odd quid! It was meant to be.

I know :) Talk soon!

Céline Audrey

8 people that were actively checking out my blog yesterday despite my shit update?! Alright, one of them is definitely my mum but still. Thanks :)

So I've gone back to dark brown hair. Classier, easier and suit me better! Also I exchanged my Chanel sunglasses for the ones I wanted from the start. Céline Audrey, largest size possible. Yeah baby! The lenses on the Chanels were a bit to mirrored and looked too sporty on me, so that's that.

The hair.
The glasses.

Double Layer Crop Shirt

Man I love ASOS. What do people in Sweden do? Nelly.com? Fuck that!

ASOS has everything. Do you want a jumper with a hole where your bellybutton is? They've got it. Do you want neon yellow scuba trousers? They've got it. Do you want Will Smith's face printed on a pair of knickers? They've fucking got it.

My style is far from that crazy (kind of the opposite) but you know what I mean. You can search for whatever detail you want on a garment and all the options pop up. With a price-range from basically the same amount as a Starbucks coffee up to what I get paid a month. And if you pay £9.95 like I've done, you get next day delivery for a whole year. And always free returns. Do you get it now? I can order five outfits on Thursday morning and receive them on Friday, pick the one I like to wear for the evening and then just stroll down to the post office on Saturday on my way to work and throw my return package in, no queuing.

Anyhow, I just ordered another batch that I can't wait to try on.
This is what I'm most excited about:

How gorgeous? I could live in shirts like these and a pair of black, skinny jeans.
£28 here!

You could think I'm sponsored, I wish. Also, I'm thinking of going back to brown hair. Just because it would look amazing with this shirt haha..

Maison Kitsuné

I just found this yellow top on theoutnet.com from French brand Maison Kitsuné... I really like it. I would wear it with a voluminous skirt like the girl in the picture but preferably a black one. Hair tied up, red lipstick and white sneakers.

Is it worth £100?

Black Biker

The Biker has been around for a few years now, it may have changed shape, material and colour a little bit but hey. It's a classic and everyone should own one. Real leather or fake it doesn't matter!

My favourites are nr 1 and 3 - payday (and first exam in the morning) tomorrow woop woop!

ASOS - £65

ASOS - £55

Mango - £105

French Connection - £62

UPDATE - I ordered the first one :)

Chanel baby

I'm happy to announce that I've bought my first ever Chanel item people. Except for nail polish haha! #looser

I was on my way to work today when I spotted the new eyewear shop Maverick & Wolf across the street on Chiswick High Road. On display in their window was a huge ad for the chunky, well-known Céline sunglasses. Obviously I crossed the road without even looking out for passing cars and went straight in.

I've never tried the Celines on but yeah, they are just as sexy as in the pictures. Glamorous and very feminine. I tried on the ones with the largest lenses and chunky frames.

I went back to work and spent a good 45 minutes googling the glasses to see if I really wanted to spend over £210 on a pair of shades. Turned out I do. So I managed to get off work a little bit early (told my boss straight as it was, someone I knew was dying and I need to go ASAP - joking I didn't say that). I went back to the shop and tried the pair on again - hair out, center parting, side parting, ponytail, sloppy bun, tight bun, loose again... I had no shame what so ever. And because the shop is new, obviously the staff-member assisting me didn't leave my side to show his manager that he was being that persistent salesman that he had claimed to be on his CV. But as I said I had no shame, I was treating this buy as if I was buying a million-pound mansion.

And then he (Ethan - I was in there for so long that we're now on a first name basis) relaxed said "and then of course there's Chanel over here...". So we head over and I see a pair that I love straight away. Cat eye but not too much cat eye. The classy cassette logo on the side instead of the slightly tacky CC logo. But they were brown...

Ethan quickly says that they can order one in black for me and that there is a 20% discount on everything. HELLOOOOOOO THERE IS NEVER A PRICE REDUCTION ON IN-SEASON CHANEL! It's a part of their exclusivity strategy just like many other premium brands.

So here I am, £198 poorer but a pair of Chanel sunglasses richer. Feels good. Let's just pray that the colour is what I imagine when they arrive.

New in

Went on a smaller shopping spree yesterday. I've already shown you the dress I bought but I also got these shoes and top. I found the top at H&M and bought it simply because it reminded me of the dress I was looking for (and thought I'd never see again). I'm still keeping it even though I found the dress 5 minutes later haha..

I LOVE the pastel green sandals, found them at Zara and they're in real leather which is great. I'm really done with plastic shoes, they last about 1 week, make your feet smelly and are usually so uncomfortable. I've also really tried to only buy flats recently that I'll be able to wear on a day-to-day basis. Figured these will be great with a short dress and bare (tanned) legs this summer. And as you know I've been craving the Adidas Superstars for a while. I Facetimed Lloyd to show him the sneakers and he just said "Nooooooooo....." while showing a disgusted facial expression. Too bad that I don't take style advise from you babe ;) They're stayin'!

I also bought a scented candle smelling of linen & seagrass, and a short sleeved shirt with some nice details around the collar. I was basically trying to find a top that would go with my black cigarette pants and pointy stilettos, I'm gonna try it on later to see if it's a match or not!

Top H&M - £15
Leather sandals Zara - £50, Adidas Superstar UO - £56

The dress

I FOUND IT! In black even! I couldn't believe it today when I went to Westfield shopping center and stumbled over COS just before I was about to leave. So I went in and this is the first thing I see. It's even more beautiful than the navy one I tried on in Dubai. Why don't they have this on their UK website? Maybe it's brand new stock, what do I know.

What I do know is that it's finally mine. I think this will have to be my b-day outfit for Friday. I'm thinking bare legs, chelsea boots and simple earrings with my hair let out. How stunning is it?

From COS - £89 - find it here!

Plimsolls

New season - new shoes. Figured I need some casual day-to-day shoes that aren't sneakers or have heels on them. What better solution than a fresh pair of plimsolls! Gonna rock these on sunny days paired with black, tight skinny jeans, a trench coat and a pair of wayfarers. Gotta stay freshhhh..

Zara - £40

PINK

Went shopping (not on the internet!!) yesterday at Brent Cross shopping center after uni with my friend Gabbi. Bought a new outfit for mine and Lloyd's 1 year anniversary tomorrow, we're going to the steak and seafood restaurant Rock & Rose in Richmond, so excited!!

I'm not really a fan of Victoria's Secret because I get quite put off by brands that get super hyped by manipulative teenage girls (like Abercrombie & Fitch), but I can't deny their underwear. Super comfy, great quality and for a good price. Bought these 5 for £20 yesterday, LOVE the black and white batik.

Barbour

I've forgotten to show you another bargain I made last week. I stumbled over this jacket when I was at TK Maxx looking for interior stuff. A dark navy, classic quilted Barbour jacket with a black corduroy collar. Looks really nice on and it was only £50!

For those of you who don't live in the UK, TK Maxx is a massive retail chain that you can find all over London (and the rest of England..?). They sell designer clothes, shoes, bags and accessories super cheap, kind of like an outlet, but for this store you don't have to drive for hours to no-man's-land to get to. They stock previous years' collections for up to 70% off the original price and if you've got the energy to look through it there are definitely some bargains to find. It's kind of like in the middle of the Christmas sale, there's one item of everything and you need to elbow your way through a whole lot of women to find something.

They stock brands like Hunter, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney, Balmain, Miu Miu, Versace, Isaak Mizrahi, Vivienne Westwood, Guess, Ralph Lauren, Birkenstock etc etc. Might be worth a visit if you're on a budget but still have a sweet tooth for designer clothes!

Bomber

Carin Wester
Spring is here! In London anyways. And I want a new jacket.

I think I want a silky or oversized bomber... Not the classic style but something a little bit more exciting. I loooove the two from Filippa K and Carin Wester (both Swedish brands) but the first one is sold out everywhere since it's last season, and the other one I'm not sure will suit me. I think it only looks that long and loose because the girl wearing it is so skinny.

The beige one I found on ASOS and I really do like it. I'm scared it will look more beige in real life though, I want it to be a pale colour like in the picture. And out of personal experience, the pictures on ASOS website seldom reflects how the clothes look in real life.....

Gift idea for him

I'm always googling around to get some gift inspiration around Christmas, Bdays and Valentines.. So I thought I'd give you a tip myself!

I got my boyfriend these Clarks Originals Desert Boots for Christmas and I just love them (doesn't really matter if he loves them since I'm the one who's gonna be looking at them - just kidding he loves them too). It's a classic style that never go out of date and fit most people. They look so hot with a pair of black skinny jeans and a shirt, which happens to be Lloyd's style to the point. I can see these boots on any age really, but guys please don't wear them with bootcut jeans.. That would hurt my eyes. Not a fan of the cowboy look.

Lloyd wanted the black ones, which are my favourites too.

Love these ones in the colour Taupe as well.

These boots cost £80 and you can find them at Clarks, Office or Size. I bought them here.

Please return to..

Haven't shown you this little mint coloured box yet. I've been wanting this necklace for a while now so I decided to treat myself and bought it in Dubai. Very convenient since my student finance just appeared on my current account... Hahaha what else is that money for than to go shopping at Tiffany's?! Paying rent is so last year...

Classic heart tag pendant in silver, size small, 18" chain, £125.
Find it here.

Missing

Right, I found this top at Cos in Dubai... Didn't buy it and now I NEED IT. I tried on the largest size cause I want to wear it as a dress, I think it's absolutely stunning. The material looks super luxe and it's in a dark, shiny navy. I took pictures of it cause I wasn't sure whether to buy it and thought that I'd find it in London if I change my mind. BUT I've been looking all over the internet and I just can't find it. Not sure if this is an old piece or the opposite - that it just hasn't arrived to the UK shops yet. But I'm very, very sad. Help?

This one is from ASOS - sold out of course.
Similar dress from Stella McCartney.

Casual

Work outfit of today! I bought this amazing white tee (which you can't even see - I know) from Cos in the Dubai Mall, just a plain one but the material is amazing. The watch is my favourite which I bought maybe 2 years ago, still love it. It's not as girly as many other watches are which I like. I bought my one from London Watch Shop by the Bond Street tube station, I can highly recommend them! They gave me a random discount just to be nice and I've received great service several times after that as well. Also about the watch, let me just say that this one is NOT to be associated with the hyped Michael Kors watches, can't stand them...

The Dubai mall btw is apparently the biggest shopping center in the entire world and we went there in the evening of our last day. It was alright, many of the shops contained kind of weird Arabic fashion which you can imagine is a bit different.. No slutty dresses or skirts = not interested. Haha kidding.. But hey, they had MANY other shops too in all price ranges, from H&M to Chanel.

Watch Marc by Marc Jacobs, trousers River Island, t-shirt Cos, Converse

Tax free

We've literally had the best time here and I have for once taken loads of pictures.. But I'm enjoying myself way too much to spend time in front of a laptop so will show you everything later. In the meantime, here's what I bought at Gatwick before we left :) Gotta love tax free!
